EMUI 10.1 Is Now Available For More Than 30 Devices
New features include smart photography features, interaction with multiple devices at once, and Celia’s voice assistant.
Huawei announces a new version of its user interface based on the Android operating system: EMUI 10.1, which is available for more than 30 devices from the Chinese brand.
This update is compatible with terminals that use the Kirin 990 processor, case of Mate 30 Pro, P40, P40 Pro, and P40 Pro +.
EMUI 10.1 focuses on improving the smartphone experience both in terms of security, connection, and performance. Among other things, it will allow you to interact with multiple devices at the same time, organize tasks, and obtain better photographs. The latter is possible thanks to Golden Snap and smart photography features. Now, instead of getting a single frame, the terminals will record a 4K motion picture with additional frames taken before and after pressing the shutter. The AI Best Moment feature will analyze frames, while AI Remove Passerby and AI Remove Reflection will allow you to remove unwanted images and reflections.
The Multi-Screen Collaboration functionality will allow you to answer voice and video calls directly from the PC, through the hands-free system, and open files and hyperlinks on the mobile phone with native applications for the computer.
HUAWEI MeeTime supports Full HD video calls on mobile terminals, including tablets, and HUAWEI Vision TV, ensuring sharpness in low light and poor coverage. Users will be able to share screens and write notes.
Regarding the use of different gadgets, Multi-Device Control Panel will show the nearby devices that are connected and will automatically recommend those that can be used for an optimal experience.
Other special features of EMUI 10.1 are the Celia voice assistant, which is activated by saying “Hey Celia” or by pressing the power button for a second and which is capable of identifying objects and controlling playback, messaging or translation, and HUAWEI Assistant extension to more devices. Powered by HUAWEI Ability Gallery, it provides global searches, instant access to tips, and news, among other things.
EMUI 10.1 promises complete protection with encrypted local and cloud data. It comes with private space, App Lock, and Password Vault.
